Hannah presents shows across BBC Radio 3
On a Sunday lunchtime she hosts the Early Music Show, interviewing the cream of the Early Music world - instrumentalists, conductors, scholars; telling stories of music written in the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras; and presenting concerts from the best in the business.
Then in the evening, it's Record Review Extra, a chance to hear full length works - highlights from the new albums featured on Saturday Morning's Record Review show, and the complete performance of the work showcased in the week's Building a Library feature.
During the week, Hannah's often up with the birds, first thing in the morning she can be heard on Breakfast (weekdays 6:30-9), standing in for Petroc Trelawny. Then you can catch her presenting the Wigmore Hall concerts live on Monday lunchtimes, or a series of Lunchtime Concerts Tuesday to Friday from venues such as LSO St Luke's in Central London. And in an evening Hannah can often be heard presenting In Concert, performances from the Barbican, or Royal Festival Hall; Wigmore Hall or Kings Place.
This summer (2023) in addition to hosting BBC Proms on Radio 3 from the Royal Albert Hall, Hannah will present the Radio 3 New Generation Artist showcases on Saturdays at 11:45. And a highlight of the year for her is when she steers the Radio 3 sleigh across Europe (on the airwaves only) in the annual EBU Christmas Music Day.
